Scientific Researcher 2nd degree
Andra Dinache graduated from Faculty of Physics, University of Bucharest, in 2008, obtaining the Bachelor degree in Biophysics. She obtained the Master degree in Biophysics and Medical Physics (2010) and the PhD in Physics - Optics, Spectroscopy, Plasma, Lasers (2013).
Her research activity is focused on interdisciplinary fields, including laser spectroscopy and spectroscopy of biomolecules (UV-Vis-NIR absorption spectroscopy, FTIR and LIF spectroscopy), microfluidics, colloids and interfaces, microbiology (MIC, MBC, antimicrobial synergy tests) and laser applications in biomedical sciences. A main focus of her research is laser generation and characterization of new photoproducts with enhanced antimicrobial activity, as a method to fight multidrug resistance of bacteria. Her research activity concerning colloids was focused on development of a laser assisted device for generation of emulsions with nano- and micro-size droplets. The results of her research were published in 22 scientific articles and 2 book chapters and presented at more than 60 international conferences.
