Scientific Researcher Assistant
Ágota Simon obtained her BSc in Biophysics in 2012, MSc in Medical Biophysics in 2014 and is currently enrolled as a PhD student in Optics, Spectroscopy, Plasma and Lasers at the Faculty of Physics, University of Bucharest.
She joined the Laser Spectroscopy and Optics group in 2014, where her work focuses on opto- and microfluidic properties of laser exposed medicine droplets in interaction with target surfaces under terrestrial, micro- and hypergravity conditions. She was involved as project leader/coordinator within the European Space Agency’s Spin Your Thesis! programme as well as the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs’ Drop Tower Experiment Series and Zero-Gravity Instrument Project.
